Jahrhundert herum. Als Grundlage für diese Arbeit habe ich im Vorfeld das Seminar „Aufwachsen Deutschland“ besucht, indem es um das Aufwachsen und die jeweiligen Sozialisationsinstanzen verschiedener zeitlicher Epochen ging. So wurde zum Beispiel die Jugend um die Jahrhundertwende, während der nationalsozialistischen Herrschaft oder in der zeit der DDR näher beleuchtet.
Gerade die Zeit um 1900 warfare eine sehr ereignisreiche Zeit für Deutschland. So conflict guy bereits in der section der zweiten Industrialisierung angekommen, bahnbrechende Erfindungen und Entdeckungen in Wirtschaft und Medizin beherrschten das Leben, aber auch bitterste Armut als Preis des Aufschwungs im Schatten der Industrie conflict an der Tagesordnung. Dazu kamen noch Streitigkeiten um die Durchsetzung hegemonialer Interessen Deutschlands in Teilen der dritten Welt und Asiens und eine ständige, lodernde Gefahr des Ausbruchs eines Weltkrieges und stetiger Konkurrenzdruck mit anderen europäischen Staaten.
Inmitten dieser scenario befanden sich die Arbeiterfamilien und die bürgerlichen Familien als Stütze Deutschlands, da diese shape der Familien zahlenmäßig am stärksten vertreten warfare. Ich möchte diese Familientypen jeweils anhand von Beispielen vorstellen. Weiterhin möchte ich nach der jeweiligen Vorstellung Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten in verschiedenen Lebensbereichen der genannten Familientypen vorstellen.
Darüber hinaus möchte ich untersuchen, ob es markante Unterschiede bei den Folgen der jeweiligen Sozialisation gibt. Dazu werde ich Lebensläufe und Erfahrungsberichte betrachten, um einfach festzustellen, inwieweit die „Kinderstube“ sich tatsächlich auch das spätere Leben ausgewirkt hat. Zur Unterstützung meiner Thesen nutze ich verschiedene Literatur, so zum Beispiel „Kindheit im Kaiserreich“, welches von Rudolf Pörtner herausgegeben wurde, und verschiedene Lebensläufe von unterschiedlichen Personen in Deutschland um 1900 betrachtet. Auch Michael Seyfarth-Stubenrauchs „Erziehung und Sozialisation in Arbeiterfamilien im Zeitraum 1870 bis 1914 in Deutschland“ oder verschiedene Beiträge von Christa Berg gehören zur verwendeten Literatur.

Zuerst werde ich einen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand der Forschung zum Thema Geschwisterbeziehungen geben. Daran anknüpfend beschäftige ich mich mit einigen Faktoren, die die Geschwisterbeziehung beeinflussen. Aus der Vielzahl dieser Faktoren habe ich drei exemplarisch ausgewählt, Geburtsrangplatz, Geschlecht und elterliche Ungleichbehandlung, mit denen ich mich näher befassen möchte. Hier werde ich auch näher auf die erst- und zweitgeborenen Kinder und ihre jeweilige spezielle state of affairs, eingehen. Diese Faktoren bestimmen die Geschwisterbeziehungen das ganze Leben hindurch. Dennoch bleibt die Beziehung zwischen den Geschwistern nicht konstant, sie verändert sich in jeder Lebensphase. Im folgenden Kapitel werde ich mich mit der Entwicklung der Geschwisterbeziehung im Laufe eines Lebens befassen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt hier auf der Veränderung während der Kindheit und Jugend, auf die part des Erwachsenseins werde ich nur am Rande eingehen.
Abschließend werde ich noch einige Bedeutungen der Geschwisterbeziehung darstellen, die in speedy allen Familien mehr oder weniger stark vorkommen. Hier werden Begriffe wie Rivalität und Nähe aufgegriffen, die in jeder Geschwisterbeziehung eine entscheidende Rolle spielen.
